My catering Order

Is there a minimum order for party food and biscuits?
The minimum party food order is 15 bags. We don't usually accept orders for fewer than ten biscuits. There's no minimum order for other items.

Do you deliver?
Yes, we can deliver party food bags - at no additional charge - to venues in AL5 postcodes. Collection is otherwise available (AL5 3AT).

What colours are the party food bags?
​
Our bags are green, blue, red and yellow and you can choose to order all of those colours or just one or two. If your party has a theme that requires different coloured bags, please just let us know and we will do what we can (although there may be an additional cost for this).
The birthday girl or boy will always get his or her own special bag complete with a personalised tag and a little extra treat.

Here at Feeding Time we love catering for parties with themes! Loads of our items can be tailored (sometimes at no extra cost) to make the party tea look spectacular and the food really memorable. Just give Kate a call to discuss plenty of time before your party.

Do you offer corporate catering?
​
Yes! We have catered for numerous corporate clients and all our delicious lunches can be tailored to suit your needs. Trays of our very popular sweet and savoury treats are also available for your to order for your event. or meeting.
dietary requirements
We keep a full list of the ingredients and allergens in every item on our menu. Please just ask if you need to see this.

​​Do you cater for allergies?
We can cater for individual party guests with most allergies and intolerances at no additional cost. (Costs will vary where an entire event requires Free From alternatives). Regrettably, it isn't possible for us to prepare movie night boxes or biscuits for GF, DF or egg-free diets and clients should note that many of the products we use come with the "May Contain Nuts" warning.

Is your food nut-free?
Some ingredients are labelled, "may contain nuts" but no actual nuts are used in any of our food except the pesto pasta salad (which includes pine nuts).
All food is prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts - and all other allergens - from time to time.

How - and when - do I notify you about dietary requirements?
​
Ten days before your event, we will ask you to confirm your final numbers and full details of any dietary requirements. It is your responsibility, as party host, to gather this information in and to send it over in good time.

Insurance
Are you insured?
Yes, Feeding Time has proper public and product liability insurance.
​
Feeding Time is registered with the St Albans District Council.
Kate also holds a certificate in Food Safety in Catering (Level 2 Award) and we are proud to have been awarded the maximum 5 star rating for food hygiene.
When should I book?
I'm ready to order! How much notice do you need?
As much as possible!
Weekend dates get booked up very quickly so it is best to make your party catering booking as soon as you can. (Orders tend to start coming in around six months before an event date).

Smaller orders for biscuits or occasion treats can usually be accommodated on 1-2 weeks' notice.
​
Bigger bookings (corporate orders, weddings, large parties) will need more notice, particularly where new tooling is required.

Do you need a deposit?
​
No. Your party catering booking is confirmed once we have received your booking form. Ten days before your event, we will ask for final numbers and after that your invoice will be issued for full payment the day before delivery/collection.

Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are available to purchase in any denomination and may be used on any product across the Feeding Time / Crumbs range.
​
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue.
