Starry Sarnies

Children eat with their eyes, just as we do! These little starry sandwiches are so easy to make... there's no excuse for presenting boring old plain sandwiches again! I've used a slice of brown and a slice of white bread for each side of each sandwich (alternating tops and bottoms). The tiny stars (or any shape you like), once cut out, look great slotted back into the top of a sandwich with the other colour bread on top. Or, if the filling is nice and bright, why not ditch the star altogether and allow the kids to see the fillings through the shaped hole?
