These sausage pinwheels make a wonderful alternative to the usual (albeit also very yummy) party sausage roll. I made these by spreading sausage meat over puff pastry and adding a little chopped red pepper, spring onion and basil. The pastry was rolled tightly, cut into thin slices and baked for 12 minutes at 180c. Dee-Lish (if I do say so myself!) - and the kids agreed.
